'Project Runway' themed Swatch mascot t-shirts now available at Mood Fabrics
The Swatch new feature t-shirts on the front bottom. Emblazoned across the back of the tee is "Thank mood" - a term familiar to longtime fans of "Project Runway". When the designers of "Project Runway" are not responsible for creating looks supplies pet shop, or other wacky materials, fabrics mood is destination shopping.
Located in the heart of the fabric of New York City Garment District Mood is a leading provider in the country of fabric first. Along with its long ties to ‘Project Runway’ the shop has also been featured in Donald Trump’s popular ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ television series. The shop is well stocked with everything from affordable materials for the home sewer to luxury designer apparel and home décor fabrics. They carry a wide array of European fabrics that you just can’t get anywhere else on this side of the pond.
While the New York City store is the flagship Mood Fabrics shop they also keep a location in Los Angeles. Kids prepare for college early
When Heather Bergstedt’s second-grade class goes out to recess, the dog stays in the classroom.
“He sleeps and rests,” said second-grader Sofia Alvarez Perez. Friday was Sofia’s turn to take care of Wallace, the stuffed toy dog of Boston University’s mascot.
The class received the dog, a flag and some other items compliments of Boston University President Robert A. Brown.
The dog’s official name is Rhett in Boston, but the class at Green Acres School calls him Wallace after Bergstedt’s Boston Terrier.
Green Acres is one of the Lebanon Community School District’s elementary schools gearing up to participate in No Excuses University.
NEU is a network of schools across the United States that emphasize and promote the importance of college readiness for all children.
“My staff wanted to jump into NEU,” Green Acres Principal Boon Setser said.
More teachers are eager to participate. Setser said he plans to take another group of teachers to an NEU conference this year.






ON a Sunday morning in March, the cavernous arrival hall at Terminal 8 at Kennedy International Airport was virtually deserted save for a cluster of people wearing white T-shirts with black “Sato Project” logos huddled near the cargo entrance.
